The book is called Yalkut Shaiylos u'Teshuvos. As the title indicates, it is a collection of questions and answers on halakhic topics. The questions were asked by young Skvere yeshiva students in New Square, New York. The answers are rabbinic.

The section translated below is titled, "Goyyim" and it explains the Skvere hasidic view of non-Jews, citing among other sources, the Skvere Rebbe himself.

The anti-gentile hatred is based on rabbinic sources. Those sources are heavily influenced by kabbalah and by hasidic thought.

A similar attitude toward non-Jews can be found in the Tanya, the so-called bible of Chabad hasidic thought written by the first rebbe of Chabad, Schneur Zalman of Liadi, and reprinted thousands of times by Chabad worldwide.

The translation was made by the noted filmmaker Menachem Daum, who sent it to me along with the scans of the book posted below and requested that I post it.

And if the movement takes on this form, to go out of the exile by force and to redeem themselves with their own strength - this is something no believer in Torah and its commandments can ever do on his own, for this runs against the Jewish people's strong faith and hope for their redemption with the coming of the messiah, when they will be redeemed physically and spiritually and will be elevated to the highest degree.

Only with this deeply engrained hope can they find rest, and only with this have they lived during their bitter exile, encouraging themselves through Torah and observance. They will not be satisfied with the promises of Herzl and Nordau, who promise them their own state and a good physical life - even if we would fool ourselves into thinking that they could accomplish this. Putin reaffirmed his support of Rabbi Berel Lazar, leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in Russia, who is one of two claimants to the title of Russia's chief rabbi.

"And as everyone can see, in that effort Russia's Jews are second to none."

Since the installation of Rabbi Lazar as the Chief Rabbi of Russia by the Chabad Federation there have been a number of controversies associated with Chabad influence with president Vladimir Putin, and their funding from various Russian oligarchs, including Lev Leviev and Roman Abramovich.[2] Lazar is known for his close ties to Putin's Kremlin.

Putin became close to the Chabad movement after a number of non-Chabad Jewish oligarchs and rabbis including Vladimir Gusinsky (the founder of the non-Chabad Russian Jewish Congress), backed other candidates for president.

Lev Leviev, a Chabad oligarch supported Putin, and the close relationship between them led to him supporting the Chabad federation nomination of Lazar as Chief Rabbi of Russia, an appointment that Putin immediately recognised despite it not having been made by the established Jewish organisation.

According to an editorial in the Jerusalem Post the reason why Lazar has not protested Putin's arrests of Jewish oligarchs deportation is that "Russia's own Chief Rabbi, Chabad emissary Berel Lazar, is essentially a Kremlin appointee who has been made to neutralize the more outspoken and politically active leaders of rival Jewish organizations."

In celebration of S. Petersburg's 300th birthday, Russia's President Vladimir Putin issued a gold medal award to the city's Chief Rabbi and Chabad-Lubavitch representative, Mendel Pewzner.

At a public ceremony last week Petersburg's Mayor, Mr. Alexander Dmitreivitz presented Rabbi Pewzner with the award on behalf of President Putin.

As he displayed the award to a crowd of hundreds who attended an elaborate ceremony, the Mayor explained that Mr. Putin issued this medal to Petersburg's chief rabbi on this occasion, in recognition of the rabbi's activities for the benefit of Petersburg's Jewish community.

All 19 Russian parliament members who signed a letter asking the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation to open an investigation against all Jewish organizations throughout the country on suspicion of spreading incitement and provoking ethnic strife, on Tuesday withdrew their support for the letter, sources in Russia said.

The 19 members of the lower house, the State Duma, from the nationalist Rodina (homeland) party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky's Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), and the Russian Communist Party, came under attack on Tuesday for signing the letter.

Around 450 Russian academics and public figures also signed the letter.

"It's in the hands of the government to bring a case against them [the deputies] and not allow them to serve in the Duma," Rabbi Lazar said.

"Any kind of anti-Semitic propaganda by government officials should be outlawed and these people should be brought to justice."

The Criminal Code of Canada [subsection 281.2(2)] identifies those guilty of the "Willful Promotion of Hatred" as follows:

In 1998, the government of Quebec promised nearly one million dollars to the fanatical messianic cult known as "Chabad-Lubavitch." Yet this cult has brazenly published, disseminated, taught and promoted the hatred of a great many "identifiable groups" (Christians, Muslims, and all other non-Jews) by casting them as subhuman and demonic.

In the quotations below, taken from their own literature and in their own officially sanctioned English translation, the members of "Chabad-Lubavitch" openly declare that Christians and Muslims are all "evil." Thus, Chabad-Lubavitch lumps non-Jews together with pigs, snakes and worms, and all other "creatures that are unclean and unfit for consumption."

The third passage leaves absolutely no doubt as to their racist and religious bigotry:

This text makes it clear that for Chabad-Lubavitch, only Jews are considered human ("called man"). They teach that non-Jews are sub-human creatures who barely even qualify as living beings (they are called "dead").
